Playtime Phonetics is run by Kyle Hammond & FRNK. By using the site you agree to what follows.

Who this is for

Kids are welcome to explore Playtime Phonetics and watch the videos, but accounts are for parents and guardians only. You need to be at least 18 and the parent or guardian of any child using your account to create one. Accounts created or controlled by a minor, or set up on a minor’s behalf by anyone other than their parent or guardian, are not permitted and may be closed without notice.

Parental Login and registration both ask for a date of birth. That check runs on our server before any account is created or signed in. If it fails, we do not attempt sign-in or sign-up. The date is compared and discarded in that request — it is never stored.

Holcom (FRNK.)

Holcom is the artistic alter-ego and animated likeness of Franklin Neal Jr (FRNK.) — An authentic artistic alter-ego representing the late-night creator ethos: playful, relaxed, imaginative, and focused on independent creative production.. He is a creator persona, not one of the arctic lesson characters, and not a character kids log into or talk to. The official Dual-Arm Classic Nightcap likeness and the original FRNK. ink sketch are not published as files on this site.

Use of Holcom on or around Playtime Phonetics follows Franklin Neal Jr (FRNK.)’s binding charter (2026):

• Must not be used to defame, discredit, disparage, or interfere with Playtime Phonetics or affiliated projects.
• Absolute ban on child abuse, predatory behavior, cruelty, or deplorable conduct depictions.
• No sexualized imagery, nudity, suggestive scenarios, or NSFW media.
• No realistic firearms, lethal combat, criminal violence, or hate imagery.

Legal rights in the Holcom likeness sit with Franklin Neal Jr (FRNK.). The full specification lives with the project files as the Holcom content charter; it is not a public character page.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including your child’s use of it. We can close an account being used to harass people, break the law, attack the site, or get around the parent-only rule above.

Our stuff and your stuff

The name, writing, characters, lesson scripts, and artwork on this site belong to Kyle Hammond & FRNK. You may view the pages. You may not copy, scrape, download, train AI on, sell, or make new versions of that material without written permission. Holcom and the original FRNK. sketches are not licensed for public reuse at all. If you see someone using our work in a harmful or unofficial way, write to playtimephonetics@gmail.com. Third-party material shown here belongs to whoever made it.

How we use AI

Every lesson plan and script on this site is written by Kyle and FRNK together, and we review each one ourselves before it goes live — that is the curriculum, and it stays human-written. We use AI tools to help build and maintain the website, and to help produce animation and video from those human-written scripts. AI does not write the curriculum itself, and it does not talk to your child. If that ever changes and an AI system is built to interact with kids directly, we will say so clearly, the first time, before it happens — not bury it in a settings page.

We do not use manipulative or addictive design — no infinite scroll, no autoplay-into-the-next-thing loops, no notifications engineered to pull a child back in. We do not profile children or use their activity to train AI models or target advertising. If we ever add a recommendation or personalization feature, it will work the same way: disclosed, and never built to exploit a kid’s attention instead of teach them something.

What we promise

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be up, always be correct, or work on every device, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it. Nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live.
